The Brno Observatory and Planetarium and the US Embassy in the Czech Republic cordially invite you on July 20 (International Moon Day), to a screening of the American documentary series CHASING THE MOON and the lecture: “THE RETURN OF PEOPLE TO THE MOON UNDER THE WINGS OF ARTEMIS”

Where is NASA headed after retiring the space shuttles? What will the new powerful SLS rockets and the Orion spacecraft enable us to do? Thanks to them, people may soon return to the moon as part of the Artemis space program…After the lecture, there will be a screening of the third episode (“Magnificent Desolation”) of the American series CHASING THE MOON (113 minutes), in the original version with Czech subtitles.

The lecture and projection of the documentary will take place in the hall of the large planetarium (so-called digitárium) with a capacity of 189 seats.
