This event will highlight the research goals of Jordan Space Research Initiative (JSRI) , which were largely d eveloped during theMVA Participation of Emerging Countries program, and how these goals for establishing the Moon Village can also contribute to sustainable development on Earth.

JSRI’s explicit goal is to bridge sustainable development with space exploration, showing that it can have benefits for life on Earth. This is especially important for emerging space countries like Jordan, which have limited natural and financial resources to contribute to lunar exploration. It is essential to highlight these synergies in order to ensure that emerging countries play a role in establishing the Moon Village.
