This cultural event has been celebrated for centuries in commemoration of ancient new moon/full moon practices of the founder and subsequent ancestors of ALU (a town in present day kogi )
Ever since the global adoption of July 20 as moon day. The custodians of history of the ancient practices has decided to join forces most importantly by spreading awareness for human aligning a day to the consciousness of the moon, which is a bedrock for sustainable living on earth and in creation, while also encouraging indigenous persons living in rural communities to take cognizance of moon explorations and sustainability for human daily life and in history making of the giant leap to mars.
