A talk with Astronaut Dorin Prunariu

We are delighted to invite you to an upcoming talk at Kingston Museum with Astronaut Dorin Prunariu to celebrate International Moon Day. Prunariu will be joining us virtually to discuss “Humanity’s Return to the Moon” with an opportunity for the audience to participate in a questions and answers session afterwards. Whilst this is a free event, space is limited so make sure to reserve a place.

Fewer than 800 people in history have been to space. Dorin Prunariu is one of them.
In 1981, Prunariu set off aboard Soyuz 40, spending eight days aboard the Salyut 6 space station, the kind of experience almost nobody on Earth can speak of firsthand.
Since his flight, Prunariu has gone on to help shape how the world thinks about space. He is Chair of the UN’s Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, President of the Association of Space Explorers, and now Co-Chair of International Moon Day.
