Regional Science Centre and Planetarium Calicut will organize a week-long event titled ‘International Moon Week’ featuring a variety of programs and activities designed for school students. These programs aim to instill the spirit of scientific inquiry, enhance analytical skills, and increase awareness about the moon and related phenomena.
The components of the program include:

• Selfie Point: A large-format image of the moon at the entrance plaza for visitors to take photos.
• Seminar on the Modern Moon Race: Exploring current advancements and future missions.
• Workshops on the Physics of the Moon: Hands-on sessions to understand lunar science.
• Activity Sessions on the Moon: Interactive learning experiences.
• Moon-inspired Cultural Activities and Contests: Including mono acts depicting lunar phenomena, songs inspired by the moon, and model-making sessions focused on lunar aspects.
