Moon Village Center Bulgaria – Inauguration
September 18 @ 13:00 – 17:00

On 18 September, we’re opening the doors of Moon Village Center Bulgaria — the first Moon Village Association center in Europe, and the second in the world.
Join us in Plovdiv as part of European Researchers’ Night 2026:
🌕 13:00–13:30 — Official Opening of Moon Village Center Bulgaria
📖 13:30–14:00 — Book presentation: In the Embrace of Chronos: Stories of Timelessness. Tales from the Watchmakers of the South Central Region
🧒 14:00–16:00 — Children’s workshop: The Moon — First Mother of Time
⏱️ 14:00–16:00 — Creative workshop with a master watchmaker: Winding Up Time
Across the day, we’ll explore two threads of the same story in parallel: the living heritage of watchmaking craft in South Central Bulgaria, and the Moon itself as humanity’s oldest timekeeper — the primordial mother of time, whose cycles shaped calendars, ritual and craft long before the first mechanical clock was built.
Moon Village Center Bulgaria is an interdisciplinary hub for space culture, governance and scientific outreach — connecting lunar exploration with Earth’s own traditions of timekeeping, craft and myth.
An initiative of Center for Projects Plovdiv, part of the Moon Village Association network.
📍 CPSBB, Trakia District, 14 Sv. Knyaz Boris I – Pokrastitel Blvd, Plovdiv
🕐 13:00–16:00 · Free admission
