IRIE MOON Africa Wave

IRIE MOON Convergence is a 24-hour global online Moonrise Watch Party held as part of Space Ungana 2026, in partnership with International Moon Day and Virtual Moon. As the Moon rises across the world, participants from more than 70 countries take turns sharing science, culture, storytelling, music, poetry, Indigenous knowledge, and perspectives on the Moon. The event follows the Moon westward across six continents, creating a continuous global relay that celebrates our shared connection to the Moon and promotes international collaboration in space exploration.
