About the Event:

Moon Day will be celebrated at Curtin University – Dubai on Wednesday, July 24, 2025, in honor of the first human landing on the Moon on July 20, 1969. The event highlights the Moon’s significance in the advancement of science and technology and its role in the future of space exploration.
Event Objectives:
• Promote scientific and cultural awareness of the Moon and its importance.
• Inspire students and space and technology enthusiasts.
• Offer interactive and educational experiences through Virtual Reality (VR).
• Create inspiring dialogue with speakers from the space and science sectors.
Suggested Activities & Programs:
• Talks and Panel Discussions: Led by experts in space science, lunar exploration, and modern technologies.
• Virtual Reality Experience (VR): An immersive journey walking on the Moon’s surface, simulated lunar landing, and exploration of future Moon bases.
• Mini Moon Exhibition: Visual display of the Moon’s exploration history, featuring NASA, UAE, and global space agency missions.
• Youth & Kids Zone: Simplified workshops and educational games about the Moon and space.
• Artistic/Interactive Segment: Live drawing or 3D moon model design experience.
