𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲, celebrated worldwide on July 20th, marks the anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing. In 2025, 𝐂𝐄𝐢𝐢𝐀 – 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 proposes to organize a special event to celebrate this historic milestone, engaging young talents in educational and hands-on activities related to space engineering.
The event aims not only to commemorate this achievement but also to inspire and motivate the next generation of engineers and scientists. “𝐈𝐌𝐃 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 – 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐥” will be part of the 𝐒𝐋𝐈 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩, a one-month programme directed at secondary and university students.
The initiative is promoted by CEiiA, a Portuguese innovation centre that develops advanced engineering solutions in mobility, aerospace, and sustainability.
