A few years ago, Dr. Mona Abd Elsalam organised an international exhibition entitled *Space Journey* in the first Pharaonic city in the Metaverse, bringing together 125 graphic designers from 46 countries around the world. This year, in recognition of International Moon Day 2026, Dr. Mona Abd Elsalam, in collaboration with Christophe Bosquillon, MVA, developed a new and larger edition focused on the Moon, bringing together an even greater number of international designers to create a global artistic and cultural dialogue around lunar exploration, humanity’s future in space, and international collaboration.
The event, ONE MOON – MULTIPLE VISIONS, is taking place on 25 October 2026, in recognition of the International Moon Day.
THEME: Exploring the Moon through art, design, culture, and human imagination, and expressing diverse visions of its meaning, our relationship with it, and its role in humanity’s future.
Dr. Mona Abd Elsalam is a Design Futurist, Keynote Speaker & Jury Member, AI × Design × Space Researcher & Graphic Designer, Assistant Professor, and UN Delegate (AIFOD).
