The Bhutan Astronomical Society which was initiated on 21st February 2024 by the division of Telecom and Space under the Government Technology Agency, Bhutan aims to foster the STEM education, provide educational resources, workshops, and training programs for students, teachers, and enthusiasts interested in astronomy. We will organize stargazing sessions, public lectures, and outreach programs to raise awareness and engage the general public in order to contribute to dark sky conservation, and inspire young Bhutanese students to pursue careers in astronomy and related fields.
