SUMMARY:Moon Days at RMSC
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate International Moon Day at the RMSC!Learn about the Moon as you create a moon phase slider\, create craters and explore missions to the moon. Build your own Moon base camp to learn what living and working on the Moon would look like for a NASA astronaut.Hide and Seek Moon: Learn how NASA scientists observe the moon by playing a hidden object moon game and hearing from the storybook Moon Rope which explores human-made meanings interpreted from shapes on the Moon.Exploring the Solar System: Learn about how craters are formed\, and what they can teach us about the history and composition of the Moon. This activity will aid you in simulating the formation of meteorite craters to then study with special tools!Science on a Sphere: Learn about the moon through our 3D spherical projection system.
