SUMMARY:The Human Eye on the Moon: Risks and Countermeasures
DESCRIPTION:Space ophtalmology will be discussed by an ophthalmologist with experience in human space physiology. Risks related to the alterations of the eye in space will be presented\, with special attention to the effects of microgravity\, hypogravity and radiation. Current and future countermeasures regarding how these effects can be attenuated or even elminated are also a focus of the presentation and discussion.
